I also use my 21inch walk push mower on some slopes. I can cut a yard with alot of slopes and ditches faster with the 36 inch walk behind than a ZTR. T. Webeviljelloman • 2 yr. ago. No zero turn should be used on a 45 degree hill. The problem isn't the center of gravity, it's the fact that the front wheels spin freely, so the whole thing can just yeet itself sideways off the hill with no warning. Not to put too fine a point on it, but this is a pretty well known limitation of zero turn mowers.
